[Feature Update] Managing enquiries from attendees gets easier for organizers

We are excited to introduce EventNook’s latest feature, which allows event organizers to keep track of attendee’s enquiries through multiple ways so they will never have to miss out on replying an important attendee’s enquiry ever again!

Event organizers easily track unread enquiries for the particular event via this new addition! This provides a systematic, user-friendly way in which any member of the organizing team can respond to enquiries, without missing out any of the enquires.

Attendees can make these enquiries by simply clicking the “Contact Organizer” button. A reply can be made, simply by hitting the reply button to respond.

Create your very own Organizer’s Profile on EventNook!

There are people who go for, maybe one or two of your events but do not particularly follow or keep track of upcoming ones. Besides Facebook and other social media platforms, what is another way to keep people informed?

Rejoice, for EventNook’s new feature, the Organizer’s Profile is the one-stop avenue for all your events! Now your attendees have access to everything under a single page. While social media platforms work well, ours is designed exclusively to showcase all the events you have organised in a listed calendar format.

Page viewers can toggle between past and upcoming events to check out what you have organized in the past and also in the near future. The list requires no extra effort – it is automatically shown according to the “My Events” page you see in your own account. You can spare yourself the hassle of listing everything and let EventNook do it for you.

eventnook organiser profile pageBesides that, you can input general information of you or your organization, such as name, logo, tagline, description and website. The information display is great for increasing brand awareness or brand recognition as well. With this, attendees can clearly see who the organizer is.

Add a banner image to create a page with your own look and feel. Perhaps something colourful for a vibrant and dynamic company? Or a picture with blue and grey hues to denote professionalism and productivity? You choose.

Our widget also allows you to present both your events and Facebook page simultaneously, which could serve as an additional platform to lead your attendees to your social media page. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?

The most wonderful thing about the new Organizer’s Profile, though, is that creating it is so simple. EventNook has made the process of creating a profile page easy by putting everything together in a single form. Try it out for yourself by following this guide:

1. Look for the Organizer’s Profile page.

First, log in to your account.

You will arrive at a one page form where you can type and insert your:

  • Organization’s/Organizer’s Name
  • Unique URL
  • Slogan/Tagline
  • Organizer’s Contact Info
  • Website
  • Facebook Page URL
  • Brief Description (Max – 100 words)
  • Custom Header Image Background
  • Organizer’s Logo

3. Share!

If you are happy with what you see, the only thing left to do would be to share your single, unique link so your attendees will know where to find all of your events.

[Feature Update] EventNook’s exciting new user interface!

If you have accessed your EventNook page in the weekend or this monday, you would have notice that some things are different! In the recent weekend, we made some changes to our user interface. Let’s take a quick look at it now!

At the right column, we have added two fields of ‘New Features/Updates’ and ‘Help Guide (Popular Questions)’. This will keep you updated and informed of how you can best make use of EventNook’s features for your events.

 

 

Furthermore, it is exciting to note that the new version is more mobile-friendly! This will make it easier for you to view reports and manage registrations or ticket sales on your mobile devices at any time.

How to add facebook page like box in the event page?

This week, we added a small but useful feature to allow event organizers to be able to simply add their facebook page like box in the event page to increase their facebook social media engagement with their audience who visit the event page.

The facebook is more and more becoming a very important online channel to promote your events and reach out to your audience. As an event organizer, you also want to get attendees to follow your facebook page to communicate with your audience for updates, event information, promotions, etc before and during the event. And it’s also very useful to continue to engage with your audience after the event as well for upcoming activities and events.

When you create the event, you can simply enter your facebook page URL under the “Event Information” section. Please see the example below:

We have been empowering some of the large events with our QR code based e-ticketing and mobile app QR scanner for attendees checkin and ticket verification at the door in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

[Feature Update] Enhancing HTML Editor to make publishing event site easier!

Recently, we upgraded our WYSIWYG HTML editor to make publishing event information and do visual formatting much easier with creating an online event page.

You can simply use our visual editor to change text style and color, add images, embed youtube, etc. in very simple way with mouse and click. We now also provide the simple way to upload images to the event site if you like to host the images on EventNook platform. Or you can also link your image from your own preferred image platform such as Flickr, Imgur, Facebook , Pinterest or image link from your own website.

[Feature Update] New Custom Registration Form Fields

We’re excited to introduce you some feature enhancements we added this week. If you have been organizing events using EventNook for online event registration or selling event ticket, you may know how easy to set up the custom event registration form with the drag & drop form editor to add and customize the form controls (fields) to collect information from your event’s attendees or guests.

The existing form controls are such as Single line Textbox, Paragraph Textbox, Multiple Choice (Radio buttons), Check boxes, Dropdown and Address.

Today, we added the following new features:

  1. Country List – the dropdown list with auto populated countries
  2. Group Header – Title for the group of controls (E.g., Company Details)
  3. Add Other Option (applicable only for Multiple Choice, Checkboxes and Dropdown controls) – to allow users enter the “Other” option information which is not included in the options list of provided in the registration form.

[Feature Update] How to end / close your online event registration in one click.

We’re excited to introduce to you EventNook’s new feature, it is a minor function which allows the event organizers to end/close the registration in one click. If you are an event organizer using EventNook for your event registration, you may have notice that an individual ticket under your event have an option to be hidden or closed for registration.

However, if you have multiple ticket types in your event and you want to close the registration for all tickets, it may be a little bit of a hassle to update individually. You can now choose to deactivate your event registration or end the registration with just one click.
